As Procure Impact scaled, the team needed a modern ecommerce foundation that could support growth, streamline operations, and offer an intuitive experience for both buyers and suppliers. With no internal technical background, they sought a partner capable of helping them define the right architecture and build a marketplace that could evolve as their ambitions grew.
Their objectives included:
Procure Impact partnered with FortéNext to plan, design, and build their next-generation B2B marketplace. During the RFP process, the Procure Impact team emphasized how critical it was to find a partner who could guide them through the technical unknowns. FortéNext’s structured discovery, clarity, and transparent approach helped shape the roadmap for their new platform.
The marketplace was rebuilt on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management, with custom functionality for the unique needs of a mission-driven, multi-vendor environment. Suppliers can now publish and manage their own product listings, update catalog information, and track orders through a dedicated portal.
The project also included UI/UX design for a user-friendly Shopify integration layer, making it easy for vendors to sync product and order data. Custom landing pages for each supplier allow brands to showcase their stories and impact, creating a more engaging experience for buyers.
Custom B2B marketplace
A Salesforce Commerce and Order Management build incorporating tailored pages for product details, catalog listings, homepage, profiles, and user management.

A seamless connection enabling vendors to sync products and orders directly from Shopify.

The new platform strengthened Procure Impact’s operational capabilities and accelerated their ability to scale a mission-driven marketplace.
The Procure Impact team highlights the ongoing partnership and the role FortéNext plays in both everyday execution and long-term technical strategy.
Lauren McCann, Co-Founder and CEO, shared:
Lauren summarized the relationship by noting that the team “We wouldn’t be where we are without them,” emphasizing how closely FortéNext engineers work with Procure Impact day-to-day.
