Procure Impact is a first-of-its-kind B2B marketplace connecting hotels and businesses with more than 6,000 mission-based products made across the United States. Their goal is to make it easy for companies to support social impact through everyday purchasing decisions.
Challenge

As Procure Impact scaled, the team needed a modern ecommerce foundation that could support growth, streamline operations, and offer an intuitive experience for both buyers and suppliers. With no internal technical background, they sought a partner capable of helping them define the right architecture and build a marketplace that could evolve as their ambitions grew.

Their objectives included:

  • Migrating the marketplace onto Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Enabling supplier self-service for catalog and order management
  • Integrating Shopify for product and order synchronization
  • Improving ease of use for buyers and suppliers

Solution

Procure Impact partnered with FortéNext to plan, design, and build their next-generation B2B marketplace. During the RFP process, the Procure Impact team emphasized how critical it was to find a partner who could guide them through the technical unknowns. FortéNext’s structured discovery, clarity, and transparent approach helped shape the roadmap for their new platform.

The marketplace was rebuilt on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management, with custom functionality for the unique needs of a mission-driven, multi-vendor environment. Suppliers can now publish and manage their own product listings, update catalog information, and track orders through a dedicated portal.

The project also included UI/UX design for a user-friendly Shopify integration layer, making it easy for vendors to sync product and order data. Custom landing pages for each supplier allow brands to showcase their stories and impact, creating a more engaging experience for buyers.
